Sky Sox finish River Cats
June 12, 2005 - Choo Freeman's one-out single in the 10th plated the winning run as Sacramento beat Colorado Springs, 8-7, on Sunday, completing Saturday's suspended game.
Jeff Pickler singled off reliever Ron Flores (2-2) and went to second on a sacrifice. Ryan Shealy was intentionally walked and Marcus Gwyn replaced Flores. Pickler stole third and Gwyn loaded the bases by hitting Brian Buchanan with a pitch before Freeman delivered his game-winning hit.The game had been suspended by rain with the score tied 4-4 in the top of the fifth inning. Keith Ginter ripped a two-run homer after Jack Cust led off the inning with a walk. Steve Jackson delivered a sacrifice fly that made it 7-7.
